System Change, Not Climate Change!

The catastrophe is real and climate change is one of its many symptoms. The COP15’s inevitable talk of “saving the world from the climate crisis” is an elaborate hoax to disguise the COP15’s true purpose: to restore the legitimacy of global capitalism by inaugurating an era of “green” capitalism. There is urgent need for radical paradigm shifts at all levels, not just adjustments. The lying and the hype have to stop. Purpose has to overrule profiteering - new reward systems must be established and predatory behaviour must be punished. Nouns as 'Progress' and 'modernity' have to be re-defined.

Science can't do it by itself and techno-science even less: often following a single minded, compliant linear thinking in the box... (techno-)sciences have been reduced for catering to corporate profit rather than public good, with the presumption that the interests of corporations are the interests of the people. ENSSER

Repressing opposition is representing no change

Anti-protest regulations in Denmark effectively criminalise a wide variety of peaceful protest and anyone participating in a demonstration. Even peaceful civil disobedience is now punishable with 40 days of prison - and this is only the last of a long list of totalitarian and xenophobic measures which are seriously undermining democracy and freedom in Denmark. Nazi still guarding queen in Copenhagen

somethingmanky warns about a 19 year old neo-nazi on active duty with the Queen's personal guard until April 2010. On his public Facebook profile the cop said, amongst other things:

• Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf" is his favorite book
• He had a broad music taste but doesn't like "nigger music"
• He advises against eating pizza because pizzerias are owned by "perkers" (Danish slur, basically the N-bomb for Arabs)
